Vaping to be Prescribed on the NHS

E-cigarettes and E-liquids have been granted a licence by Britain’s medicines regulator for the first time, opening the door for them to be prescribed on the NHS.

The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has awarded a licence to British American Tobacco that will allow them to market their E-voke product as a smoking cessation aid.

Although there are worries amongst the community that this will allow British American Tobacco to monopolise the market once more, it certainly is a big step forward for changing the public mindset towards vaping and other nicotine products.
